I'm looking at installing a rear work/spot light and would love some advice from anybody who has made/installed one themselves.
Looking at something similar to this the telescopic one on this page - just not telescopic:
http://www.kaymar.com.au/products/spare ... telescopic
The plan is to make a bracket which will fit behind the spare wheel bracket and place the light just above the spare wheel, but there is not much room back there, especially with the BFG's. It will be activated via a seperate switch on the dash and not activated with the reverse lights. Of course I have a couple of questions.
1) Are there any ready made work/spot light brackets available for the 120? I see Kaymar make an extendable model, but I'm not a big fan and I'm sure I could knock one up which is more suitable myself. Anything else out there I could get a rough plan off?
2) What is the best way to get power to the light? I was considering drilling a small hole through the rear door near the spare whell bracket then following the other cables to the front (I see Chippy has some rear roof lights - where did you get the power for those?).
Cheers.
