Hey Mav, if you don't mind me asking, who is supplying the kit to do your Blitz's? I have looked at doing it for ages but haven't seen anyone claimng to do Lightforces yet. Thanks in advance.

        Hi Matt,

Check out this website, the guy has made up the adapters to take H3 HID globes and he sells them with the instructions for $15. He has offered me a price of $198 for adapters, instructions and 55W HID kit.

However he does say that you could get a 50 or 55W kit off ebay for less than he sells but after looking the good kits are only marginally cheaper and after freight they are probably the same if not more. There are cheap kits but if I am going to do this I want to know that I will only have to do it once.

          Hey Matt

If you do a search on ebay for 'lightforce hid' you'll come up with a couple of kit options. Can't vouch for them as I haven't tried them, but I've been thinking about a conversion too.

Per my previous Post, I dont think these are the genuine fatboys that ARB sell.
                  Wattage and colour is different.

It seems that ARB only stock one of the Fatboy range. They stock the 3200k colour which is the same as standard halogen. There are other wattages and colour temperatures available elsewhere. There are also the super clear X4 globes that have an even higher light output for the same watts too. If you do a search in the US ebay motors site:
                    http://motors.shop.ebay.com/items/Pa...__?_trksid=m37
for 'ipf h4' you get to see a much bigger range of ipg globes than ARB provide. The prices are better too, even including postage.

Just thought I would post up this Colour Temperature chart to help people visualise the kind of light colour to expect:

Sorry PradoGXLV6! Not trying to dribble s***. I know $150 in the scheme of things is not much at all. Just a lot for two headlight globes. I'll buy a set and let you know. Thanks for the input guys.

I installed my IPF 5000K globes today, took some pics. Same globes as Mav (see earlier post). You can really see the difference in the before and after shots. I went for a drive this evening and I'm very happy with them.
