As I mentioned I thought it was to improve conductivity or to keep out the crap. If it is for conductivity then there is an excessive amount. This would have been there since day 1 and I do not believe that anything has changed. The problem I encountered started without coinciding with and service or mod to the vehicle so I am assuming that the white grease is cool and not the cause of the issue.
If at this point I was to assume that the problem is now resolved then all I can account this issue to was a loose connection but that would concern me since, while not difficult to access, is not the most readily available location to get to if this started causing an issue when out bush.
Since the pull apart yesterday morning the light has not been on after the ABS times out when the car is started. Here's hoping that continues.
