I've set up an Anderson plug at the rear of the car to power my boat winch and my compressor and have leads on both winch and compressor to match.
Trouble is, when I plug the two Anderson plugs together, they lock tighter than mating octopi (octopussies?).
I've had to wedge a screwdriver into the join between the two plugs while wrenching and wrenching to separate them. Is there a method to easing them apart without having to put both feet on the towbar? Can I put some sort of lubricant on the contacts to help them slip apart, or am I doing something wrong?
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers,
Dave
