Re: What is the Max. Charging Voltage across the Battery.
All models except d4d = 14.55 volts @2000RPM and an approx 9 to 10 amp load. If over replace voltage regulator.
1kz-te regulates between 14-15 volts.
Petrol regulates at 13.2-14.8 volts.
If you have a d4d I'll have to get back to you.....

Re: What is the Max. Charging Voltage across the Battery.
recently replaced our main battery after 12 months. Well actually just over 12 months by a few weeks. When the main battery started to die i checked charging voltage at the battery i was getting 13.4v and with a new battery i was getting almost 14v albeit for a couple of minutes before dropping to around 13.5 volts. I would have thought the higher voltage would have been seen when the battery was flat. I guess next job would be too check amps at different charging voltages. I have the D4D engine and am not happy with the recharging rate.
I have contacted toyota and to be honest didnt get much joy at all. Was actually told to contact dealer, Then was told its within spec from the dealer.
Not happy.
SteveLightforce 240Blitz driving lights, Rear hitch recovery point, GME tx3400 uhf, 64watt Uni-Solar cell, ARB CKMA12 Air compressor. all awaiting new vehicle to be delivered so they can be remounted.
