Does anyone in Pradopoint land know if there are any particular ADR requirements for the Battery restraint / clamping mechanism ?
I am currently building a set of draws that will include space for 2 x Aux batteries behind the second row seats. Space and access restrictions would mean the use of a traditional battery clamp will be a PITA to fit and remove, so I have been thinking of possibly using some type of tie down strap arrangement (fabric strap).
I don't think there is any particular requirement for a traditional steel threaded bar type clamp, as all of the battery in boot / cabin installations that I can recall seeing have just had the battery sitting in a plastic battery box that is bolted to the floor and the box lid held on by a fabric strap.
