THESE are the lighting mods folk should chase, HID mod to to ex-halogen auxiliary high-beam driving lights, something functional; - rather than mucking about with standard front fogs, rear fogs, modding DRL's or cornering lamps et al as some do.
Big place AUS with wide open spaces and regional zones bearing roos and members of parliament, where high-beam mods as such OP's - can be of great benefit in avoiding such, or so that you can more easily spot say the latter species in order to effectively run them down:-)
Simply used appropriately.
