Live circuit only when engine ON

Hi all

I need to tap into a power circuit that is only live when the engine is running. Could either be in the engine bay or under the dash (prefer easy access). I do not need to be a high current wire, but it must be off when the key is in ACC (or OFF) but live when the engine is on. Tried the search with no luck

Any ideas

Try the airconditioner high/low pressure valve..
In front of the radiator.. drivers side....

For an under-the-dash power source, take a look at Install of ARB On-Board Air Compressor CKMA12. If you search down for "Power Sources", you will see where to find this under the dash.

In brief, it is the Blue/Yellow cable:

Perfect - that is even easier to get to as I do not need to go through the firewall

Try this one, its from the wiper motor harness.
Should be what you need.
