Once again this site has saved me some time and money. Thought it a bit of a coincidence that my master switch stopped working after i had removed the battery. Thanks Guys.

That's bloody awseome, just bought a 08 GX and tried them all before i bought it and they all worked. Got it home after picking it up and same issues mentioned above...... Saved me a absolute bucket load of time as the dealership is a good hours drive....cheers lads.Comment

had the battery out to do the hid lights
2 weeks later went to open windows on the passenger side and didnt work, then none worked except the drivers
had a play around, nothing though i might have to buy a switch, then though better check our fellow PP thoughts
and fixed !!

Done well there Skipmsg.
Just the prado in at the local dealer having the clutch replaced. Got the car back only to find that none of the windows would go down. Reported it straight away after the long weekend, along with the fact that they havent actually fixed the clutch shudder. But thats a whole nother issue. I have reset all the windows and all is working fine. I then disconnected the battery, and now the windows done work again. Lets see what they have to say about it, and if they try to charge me.

Thanks heaps guys, same, I installed hid lights and no power windows... Saved me a bucket load of time and arguments with the minister of war and family planing... Keep up the great advice!!!Comment
