Here's a couple of shots i took of my LED light as per the previous posts whilst at Burra Gorge on the way to Alice.

Looks good mate. Do you have a link to the light? Also are you running a switch in the back for it?

By the way, is your saw mounted on your cargo barrier?

Yes I am also running a switch. It is very similar, if not exactly the same as the switch on the right.

I got mine from autopro or similar. It is recessed into the upper door trim that the light is attached to. It's a tight fit with the female spade terminals and wiring behind the panel but it looks great. I wired the active off the supply to the original rear light and ran it through the existing rubber boot between the back of the vehicle and the rear door. I also attached the neutral to the rear door.

By the way, is your saw mounted on your cargo barrier?

The saw is a Stihl miniboss and yes it is attached to the cargo barrier. I have 2 "L" shaped hooks that are bolted to the barrier. The saw blade/chain sits on one and the other extends through the saw's handle. 3 Occy straps spaced along the length over the saw keep it in place.

just ordered 1 of these from fleabay, get it a few days so lets see how it goes, i will take some night shots and post em up to see if they r any good. cheers samo

Hi all, I have got the 3 x 50cm bar camping kit from Allterain, I have not used it in a camping situation yet but one bar lights up my double garage better than the two 240volt 4 foot fluros. Very bright!

This mob have been advertising in the Quokka in Perth. Very reasonble in their prices and have a 18W LED worklight for $165, they say euivalent to a 100 w halogen.

installed light tonight and i must say im very impressed for the money, has a very spread beam which is what you want for a work light and is very bright, overall 100% better then the 181 hella 100w halogen i have, heres a few pics

Thanks Jase, it is fixed into the top trim using two self tapping screws which are hidden behind the white plastic covers at either end of the light. A small hole needs to be drilled into the trim under the centre of the light to allow the wiring through.

Samo, can you post a few pics and details about where you have run the cabling for this. Do you have some sort of plug/socket so that you can remove your rack or is this more or less a permanent fixture? What size cable did you run for this or did you just reuse the existing cable for the 100W halogen?
