Connecting solar blanket

Hi folks I found this dual battery controller in my Prado 2005 (bought it second hand).

If I'm buying a solar blanket should I simply connect directly to this controller (from manual it says solar goes into where the green arrow is) ?

Alternatively, could I skip this and connect the blanket to the battery via supplied mppt controller?

Yes and Yes

But if you are connecting a solar blanket/panel to the piranha and it has a built in pwm or mppt solar controller, you need to bypass the built in controller.
I could be wrong
