Upgrading ARB bar lights to LED

Hi All,

I did the recent ARB factory tour, & i asked the question, why do they make the ARB Bullbar so awkward to change to parker/indicator globes, why not fit mounts from front for easy access??? Answer, because people steal them if they mount them that way...ha ha..... mine is a 2011 bar, had to replace both globes a coupla weeks ago, unfortunately i put standard globes back in,, so looks as if i'll be repeating the job again soon

After my next trip through the big red centre in June I'm thinking of pulling off the ARB bar and getting it stripped and re-painted. I have an idea to weld up the fog light/indicator/park light holes and then fit a set of those LED park/indicator combo lights. The fog lights never get used anyway.

Can anyone confirm the globe type for the parkers (BA15S), indicators (BA15S) and the Fog lights?? in the latest bar, I need to replace the fogs but might do all 3 as LED at the same time.

Also has anyone changed the parkers in the main headlight unit? I got some free with the Phillips Blue I got and the main lights are a lot brighter so I was thinking about changing them too, looks like a PITA to get to..

Looks like another project to add to the list, keep us posted how they preform over time - have a concern about vibration causing grief to the electronics within the light unit itself
