Stalling when starting again after long drive

FYI, think I have found the solution in my case - secondary fuel filter was blocked up (the under-body one next to the tailshaft). Have now done 100-200km since changing filter and problem has not occurred. Fingers crossed . Here's a pic of the diesel and crud that was pulled out of the filter.

I was going to cut mine apart to have a look - I'm quite sure it was the OEM one, from the factory. Though I didn't have your issue, but mine had ~179k KM's on it (but my reckoning).

This is what came out just by squirting some compressed air into the inlet pipe of the filter.. didn't cut it open to look in any more detail..
