Hi All.

Got #### to do the EGR & MAF clean today, got to witness the poor job that was done on my Injector replacement by Toyota, loose bolt & several broken cable clips, plus one of the injector pipes out of alignment ! They really take pride in their work at Dealerships....not!!
At least #### does a good job & looks after customers. Cheers ####.

Yes, well the vehicle is in tip top condition now. New injector feedbacks really good.
The egr was not too bad, but now it's perfect.
The Toyota dealer who done the work, replacing the injectors, well whoever did the work, rough pig!

9 out of 10 clips & clamps just ripped off & broken. Loose bolt
It takes time to do this job, why, well these fiddly clips & clamps if you like them to work again you can't rush it.
No.3 line is sitting up too high.
Old pipes were used.
Line clamps that are supposed to be around 5nm super duper over tightened.
The pipe fittings were damaged, from spanners slipping.
The no.1 injector is twisted & pushes hard against the nozzle holder seal at one side, there's a big gap at the other. Really sh!t work!

Now Prado pointers, my advise, if you have to change your injectors, take it to someONE you trust, or do it yourself.

Exactly the reason why I decided to make the short drive from Sydney to Wollongong to have them fitted by Bailey's.

Picked her up yesterday and were running smooth as silk. In my case the injectors were only just on the way out (had the occasional cold knock throughout winter). The economy had also dropped off some what. I was advised I could monitor the situation carefully but the ideal option would be to swap them out. For me it was a no brainer. I plan to keep this one for the long haul and have always been on top of any preventative maintenance at the expense of not having all of the latest mods. Over the next 6 months I have 2 big trips planned and don't want the show coming to a grinding halt because of this known issue.
