Bugger Bali, get out and see Australia before we sell it all to China.

Injectors still appear to be good but watch those brass seats/sheets.
Point is might be an extra trip to get them changed, or a month off the road if it goes undetected.
That explains the seat failure - caught in time thanks to Pradopoint and the BDG website.

      • I just had my injectors + pipes replaced, all new seals etc. including oil change, oil filter, fuel filter, compression test, coded new injectors and diagnostic test, also removed lower sump and cleaned oil pick up. Done by a Toyota dealer using all genuine parts for about $3900. Mine is a 2008 @ 265 000km. The original injectors that came out had the alloy washers, not the copper 😉. I decided to stick with Toyota parts and labour due to convieniance and I figure if I get another 265 000km, well that's pretty good value. Includes 12 months Warranty on the parts and if there's any problems I can just go back to the local dealer. The new injectors from Toyota are very noticibally quieter and it's like new again in that aspect. So now just wait and see how she goes in years to come!

          • Hi all, is Rick still doing these kits? Or anyone know of a good deal? Genuine only. UAE? Japan? America? Australia?
            Cheers

              • Sorry to jump in late, but I get the feeling that most members are suggesting not to use Baileys recon injectors for 2007 D4D. Is this true, or is it ok to use Baileys for replacement?

                • Not many of us had a good experice with Bailey's second hand injectors and I would think most would now say to just go genuine!

2008 GXL D4D Auto. GOING... GOING... GONE
2015 GXL 1GD Auto. And it begins again...

                  • I would avoid Baileys like the plague.
2008 Diesel Prado with extra stuff added. I drive it on the road and other places too.
