  • Turbo Pressure Sensor

I have just got a Steinbauer chip given to me, the chip has come out of a hilux, which i know is the same, just a different configuration. This chip was set up on the turbo pressure sensor.
The hilux sensor has 3 wires coming out of it, but from what i have found is that on the 120 D4D, if I have the right sensor just before the throttle body, it only has 2 wires coming out of it. I will put up a photo of what I think is the turbo
pressure switch. Please help. Hopefully some one out there has set it up this way as well.

Not sure if you sorted out where the turbo pressure switch is but according to the pic you provided the arrow is pointing to the inter-cooler air temp sensor!.. Hence two wires only!

The one you are looking for (Turbo pressure sensor) is the one to the left of the air temp sensor that you pointed out! The turbo sensor is bolted to the turbo inter-cooler with two 8mm (maybe 10mm) bolts and has three wires hanging off it and a vacuum hose connected to it below the 3 x pin plug.

That is the turbo pressure sensor.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers
