rapid deisel chip( yes or no)

I have a rapid chip fitted to my 2005 1kzte auto and definitely noticed it especially with he gear changes, couldn't knock it back for the price i paid
second hand, also fitting a 3 inch exhaust form scotts rods turbo back system tomorrow.

I have a rapid chip in my 2003 td grande it was in the car when i brought it so cant comment on before and after improvement but iam over the moon with how it goes people always comment on how well it goes my father in law has a 150 td he said it goes as good as his possible even a bit better.

I have a rapid chip in an 08 GXL,

The chip I have is computer programmed with a little interface pad, and there's no specific 'dial' for which to wind it up or down based on what you're trying to achieve. I don't have any metric in which to base the performance off of as it was in the car when I purchased it, however I will say that it does it's job very well.

It has been tuned explicitly for economy, and reducing turbo lag. Overall I'm exceptionally happy with it.

For whats its worth, ive just hooked up a Steinbaurer chip on my 2008 d-4d tonight. Have noticed a great improvement down low and from standing start. Car seems to put the power down smooth too and little lag on the turbo if your in the right gear.

Hey guys just posting back after fitting 3 inch scotts rods exhaust and dump pipe and it doesn't drone at 100km, got rapid chip re tuned to suit exhaust, injectors done last month thanks to the guys at coffs harbour diesel, also fitted a switch to turn chip on and off, all i can say is this thing pulls hard now and sounds awsome with that whistle through most of the rev range pulls great up hills that it used to struggle on, will see how fuel consumption goes and the real test out bush to see if i have lost any torque down low?
