Diesel Leakage after filling tanks

Hey guys,

I'm 4 months into my oz trip and after filling up in alice springs around a month ago i noticed a smell of diesel coming from the prado, had a look underneath and noticed that the front tank had diesel dripping from it. i just assumed it was the overflow and i had banged to much into it,

Just filled up today again, just until the gun clicks off and i have pool of diesel under the front tank and i cant park it on an angle as it has the same problem.

Can anyone give me a heads up whats going on here ?

The best option would be to drain it and remove the tank for inspection.

My 08 120 is doing the same as of last week. Did you find anything? Not looking forward to dropping the tank...

sounds like you have a leaking/cracked hose/pipe.
not uncommon in in the older 120's

pretty easy fix.
you just need to use up most of your fuel, to reduce any leaking as you remove & replace.
not too expensive either

Cheers Damonat, I just into pulled into Pinjarra today so will check it out

Can't put any diesel into it now without it leaving a pool at the servo
