    Mine runs a beaudesert exhaust LOL and a chip LOL and it makes no difference LOL according to the EGT Probe LOL LOL whether the DTRONIC LOL is fitted LOL or not LOL.

                    Out of curiosity is there a milage where you need to start checking the oil pick up. Im now at 90k, July 2009 D4D purchased new.
                    2009 120 GXL D4D, TJM Bull Bar, Winch, Safari Snorkel, ARB Lift, ARB Lockers, Black Widow Drawers

                        And your 80K service should have been more expensive than "regular service", as they should have done a proper valve clearance check that involves pulling the injectors out. Google it...

                          I have not heard of an engine going bang with less than 30,000klms & that was a 150 series.
                          So based on that I'd say right away!

                            Had my 09 D4D 120 80K service last year, they left the feeler gauges under the bonnet, spotted later on a day trip by ####, but no mention on service receipt of injectors or seals/sheets being touched.

                              Maybe that's how they satisfy their customers, a feeler gauge set is cheaper than actually doing the work lol....
