  • 1kz te injectors for 2005 gxl

Coming up to the 200000km line so am thinking of changing the injectors and glow plugs. First question is what type of injectors to get and where from (I'm in SE Melbourne) Second question is the same but for glow plugs. Have tried search but most are about the d4d injectors. Also do i need to get anything adjusted after fitting new injectors. At the minute I'm getting around 12 to 12.5km.

    thanks

ps will be fitting them myself hopefully

Most reputable places do exchange injectors for the 1kz.

I went to Baileys Diesel group just because i have seen them on this forum, price and service was good.

I was in Darwin at the time and the shipped them up to me in 2 days, sent my old ones back when i pulled them out and they then refunded the deposit.

As for glow plugs repco ect stock them. i got bosch at trade price through them for about $75 set, i have seen them on ebay for about the same price also

Any diesel specialist can bench test and rebuild your injectors for you. I'd say around the $500 for materials and probably a couple of hundred for labour to do the injectors unless you don't mind getting your hands dirty

My rig was getting close to the 300k mark when i did mine late last year. Much better performance out of the old girl now

Hi boys, I have the 120 1kz just coming up to 200000 runs fine but just today it took its time to start and a bit of black smoke,
I'm in Perths northern suburbs looking for a good diesel place to check / do injectors and maybe glow plugs , bit hard for me to go to United Diesels but they are supposed to be good , or is it just a matter of buying and they will be right for the car ? have got a 3 inch from the turbo is there any diffrent specs in injectors ?.
            Thanks Alan.

I bought mine through Baileys diesel who are retail members on this forum, i think most places will ask for a vin number to match injectors, I believe there are 2 variants with the 1kz-te.
