Hi Rick. The power doesn't seem any different! Not that I am a lead foot to probably notice the difference anyway. I will probably notice when I tow my trailer on the weekend.

Hi there
Can any one recommend a good diesel mechanic in Adelaide to check my injectors re the "engine knock until warm issue"?
Cheers

In the future there will not even be a button because the car will scan the environment ahead and automatically select the correct gear and range required. You'll be a passenger in your own car and a little chip will pilot it about the countryside.Dave

psycho did they inspect the oil pick up screen? The injectors you can hear and feel as they get lumpy but oil starvation can creep up on you.My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

I dropped the sump after reading all the posts in here since joining mjrandom. (Why did I add bash plates). Oil pickup was clean as a whistle. My neighbor (diesel mech said it was in great nick) He mentioned I can buy a flush treatment but didn't think it needed it.
Am now just waiting for the oil leak to start like every other car I have ever dropped the sump on! :-(

Typically, a leak between the engine and gearbox will be the rear main seal. You'd be wasting your time using sealer.Dave

Not happy. My Intelligent Tester, which I have used only twice, has decided to stop working. It freezes on the model input under the system panel. Won't let me select the model. About to head off into the great outdoors for 2 months and can't do my monthly injector test.Dave

What make is it? Is it a Chinese job?
I have been doing a little research on these things as I want to keep on top of my injection equipment.
