Ok, so I have it booked in at west end diesel service in syd, approx $3000 for Denso injectors (brand new not reco) they told me they are the same as the Toyota ones without the Toyota badge, so im alot happier paying that then a total cost of 4500 to me that Toyota wanted.

I recently bought a set of injectors and injector pipes from RickNZ and have just fitted them myself. I was able to enter in the injector compensation codes to the ECU with techstream and I can now report its using a lot less fuel - looking likely it will be around 10L/100k rather than 12.5-13L/100k.
A big thanks to RickNZ for sourcing these and taking the time to help out fellow PP'ers. Also big thanks to John (Roo) who I had a good chat to before doing the job.
While I was in there doing the job, I decided to clean up the EGR and also do a valve clearnace check and also replaced the battery with a new d27f Optima.
Old Injectors:
Inj. 1 feedback: 2.8
Inj. 2 feedback: 0.3
Inj. 3 feedback -4.3
Inj. 4 feedback: 1.0
New Injectors:
Inj. 1 feedback: 0.0
Inj. 2 feedback: 0.0
Inj. 3 feedback -1.1
Inj. 4 feedback: 0.9
Valve Clearances:
Cylinder 1 - Exhaust Bottom: 0.35mm, Exhaust Top: 0.35mm
Cylinder 1 - Intake Bottom: 0.23mm, Intake Top: 0.25mm
Cylinder 2 - Exhaust Bottom: 0.35mm, Exhaust Top: 0.35mm
Cylinder 2 - Intake Bottom: 0.20mm, Intake Top: 0.25mm
Cylinder 3 - Exhaust Bottom: 0.35mm, Exhaust Top: 0.35mm
Cylinder 3 - Intake Bottom: 0.23mm, Intake Top: 0.20mm
Cylinder 4 - Exhaust Bottom: 0.35mm, Exhaust Top: 0.35mm
Cylinder 4 - Intake Bottom: 0.20mm, Intake Top: 0.23mm
Although my old injectors were not rattling, I do notice that it does idle quieter.
I had no difficulties in replacing the injectors at home in the garage, and I am by no means a mechanic.
Oh, and thanks to Toyota for leaving a injector nozzle seal holder under the valve cover I suspect the last time they replaced the nozzle sheets. I might return it to them as I'm sure the poor old apprentice is still looking for it..
Cheers,

Considering that I have gone through the $13K job myself, I'd trailer that puppy.
BTW, I'm running Bailey's Injectors - and she sounds like a petrol! For $1100 ($1700 - sending your old injectors)'04 120 Petrol Flinders Red GXL

Rick NZ, any idea how long your injectors+pipes will be on sale for?
I'm guessing the kit has everything that's needed and the only thing left to purchase is the engine cover gasket?
I'm in a situation where my worst injector feedback value was -1.6 so still bit to go (car has 100k kms) but not sure whether to pre-purchase it?

Yeh it went there got the check and all i was told was there stuffed, we asked for the values and was told they will call me back about it and was told that above.
I did say why don't you have the other two and they said it didn't log them but they were just out of spec..
But any way ill send it to west end diesel and ask them to do the test and ill let you know if Toyota are full of shi# and what they say the values are.
