Perth - Recommended Workshop/s for Injector Replacement.

Hi All

Other than Toyota Workshops, is there anyone here that can recommend first hand a trustworthy workshop or mechanic to replace the injectors, seals and ancillary hardware. I live in the South Perth area but willing to travel north of the river if my visa permits ;P. My '08 Prado's #3 inj is becoming out of spec and would like to have all 4 injectors replaced before organising a trip to the Hunter Valley, NSW.

I did read an earlier thread about ############# coming to Perth...I think I missed that opportunity.

Hi Nicko, not sure if you are still looking for a workshop. I have had work done at both United Fuel in Redcliffe (out toward the domestic terminal) and Allied in Wangara (will require a boarder crossing into the north). I am going back to Allied in a few weeks to get some bits fitted to my Ranger.

Can't remember about price for injectors as I had a few things done at United and Allied was a warranty job.

Yeah the only problem with "pop" in on the way past is exactly that it may pop! Thanks for the offer #############. ;P

I went to United they supplied and fitted a few months ago , think it was $2600 for all the bits and pieces plus new fuel filter.

I think I'll go to United as they are just around the corner from my work, I drive up from the south so I never see the place!

Should always replace all 4 injectors as a set unlike what Toyota would do.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, but looking at Dabeanian's price I'm not sure if that's for all 4 injectors including labour.

4 injectors $1700
O rings and sheets $10 ?
4 pipes $300
Leak off pipe washers x5 $20 ??
Rocker gasket $55
Seals in cover for injectors 2sets of 4 $60???
Gaskets if egr clean and reassemble
Fit egr blank with 7mm hole

Plus labour.

And maybe check valve clearance while in there

Dropped of the car got it back with new injectors and all washers and seals and new fuel filter ,
Pretty sure it was $2600 drive away.
