2008 D4D Suction Control Valve

Hi all,

I need to replace the SCV in my 2008 D4D, after a search of the forum I understand the part number I require is 04226-30010. However I haven't been able to locate one online in order to make a purchase. Will the following work: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/191689921...&sojTags=bu=bu The seller says yes the DENSO SUCTION CONTROL VALVE SCV 294009-0040 will work. But I would like to double check before I spend my money.

I only use 0422630010, that is what's listed, that's what I use.

That's what I would like to use as well but to date I have been unsuccessful in locating one. I was looking at the Denso ones as an alternative but I keep finding conflicting information WRT part numbers. I will just get the mechanic to order it.

Hi all,Hope I'm not hijacking thread but I'm fairly certain I've have a scv fault also, P1229 fault code and stalling issues, any idea on cost and are Toyota the only option for the scv, I've searched Baileys website but they don't list one for 1KD and eBay part numbers don't match Anthony's above, bear in mind I'm in Far North Queensland

I wasn't able to take up ############# on his offer for help and had to get my mechanic to order one, they ended up getting a Denso SM294200-03006K. I believe they are on eBay.

Full Details:

Name: VALVE ASSY SUCTION C

Some more info:

I have used DENSO which are the exact original replacement, had faulty out of the box & shortly after.
Denso must have stock to get rid of, cheap too.

They have recognised a problem & the correct genuine Toyota number is an upgraded unit.
Very similar to those used in later pumps like in the 150 series of which I don't see problems.
So the genuine is the way to go, do it once I think.

If anyone needs them I keep them in stock for the range of 1kd $350.

They are all genuine, DENSO is a Toyota company.
The DENSO part, is an exact swap. Same as the old crap.
The Toyota branded part is upgraded. Is different. Difficult to install too.

Unusual, it may be there way of getting rid of old stock or it could be denso & parallel importers way of supplying cheap Scv's.

Ok then that makes sense, I wonder what unit my local Toyota spares would have supplied me ? they quoted $537 and the parts guy told me they have never sold one and that there was only 2 available in the state

That is the price for a genuine Toyota 04226-30010.

Many ppl don't know about the upgraded unit & find cheaper options. Eg; denso.

Yes same as original, if its ok now, it will be fine till it wears out again.
