Guys looking for feedback pls,

Looking at options of getting the 120 back on the road after major failure, looking at an exchange engine option,
Has anyone used the services of D-4D Engines Australia? (Brisbane based company)
They offer 12 months warranty,

Any feedback would be appreciated,

That's the bloke that rebuilt mine. Peter at Samford.
I wouldn't recommend him, had a few quality issues that I won't go into, but let's just say the engine was never as good as when it was original.

Please consider buying a long motor.
The lot, head, cams, water pump injectors all included.
Highly recommended.

Finally got quote from my dealer today after waiting over a week, they want over 16k,...... Wowzers!

Bloody hell!!! mine was rebuilt, drive in drive out for 7.5k, including new radiator but not turbo

Yes they are being a bit greedy, they are quoting above recommended retail pricing to loyal paying customer of 7 years,

Genuine Toyota long engine including injectors and pipes and I'm paying to have the timing belt, oil pump fuel pump and rail fitted off then do the rest myself with the help of my mech. brother, like engine out and in swapping over mainfolds etc for 8.5k. In the end it was a no brainer. Still as angry as hard to cop spending 8-9K plus on a 20k car. 3.0 d4d no better than ZD 30 Nissan.. SHITE
