Someone told me about consumption rate between A/T and M/T Prado that A/T Prado would be much thirsty than the M/T one. I think it could be true because of the characteristic of A/T engine. This engine runs at higher RPM than the M/T before it changes level of transmission. For Toyota Prado, I have never had any experience about that. I had a plan to purchase a second-hand 3.0 Prado in the next few months. Anyone has any experience or info of that doubt, Please.......

There has been plenty of threads already on the fuel consumption that can answer your questions. If you have a search or look under engines it is all in there.
We try not to have too many double up threads on this topic as per the rules.
The Thai Toyota Fortuner is also very similar in your country and will offer similar figures.
