Just wondering if anyone has noticed d4d get noiser after a few k's on the clock (1890km) ? Might be just me but seems to be noiser now. Sounds more like a rodeo diesel then before.Mine is a manual 6spd. :shock:

Maybe i'm driving it a little harder then before, I know what you mean by being louder when cold just has that diesel noise coming through when say 1/4 throttle under load.
Also have ratttle above drivers head somewhere at 90kph, might be something loose on roof rail mounts seeing i can hear it only at speed.
Have to bring it in for warranty, hate rattles :twisted:

They also made the comment about making the engine work harder by injecting early, so as you commented the engine will warm up quicker.
