1kz-te wont rev above 1000rpmr

I have a problem with my 1kz-te,
I was coming back home when suddenly just once my hilux had a jitter and what seemed like a fuel cut but then ran okay till i reached home. After few days i started my hilux, it started okay but it didnt go above 1000rpm.
the engine starts okay with rev on 1000rpm and occaisionally it goes till 3000 above rpm for few second and then gets back to 1000rpm and wont go above it.

Sounds like its in Limp mode. Any codes thrown? Have you had a code reader on it?

No codes thrown, no codes on code reader.

What to do if it is in limp mode. Can it be deactivated

And can cleaning the carbon out of EGR and turbo inlet solve the problem

Check the hose from the intercooler to the inlet manifold has not come loose. I Couldn't get revs out when driving once and that is what it was.
