Dear Fellow Prado Owners
I really need some help, I have searched the forum but not really answering my question. So I have a 2007 Prado 3.0L D-4D Diesel Engine KDJ120, I have an Orange Oil Light, (Wiggly Line underneath), which I think is the Oil Pressure, but I might be mistaken.
Anyway, it only comes on when the temperature gets between quarter and halfway, I am concerned that no oil will be getting to the top of the Cylinder Head as this is what happened before, I took the engine out and replaced the cylinder head and cleaned everything out, (Oil gangways, Water gangways etc), retimed it and put it back into the car. She burst into life and sounds great but when the temperature reaches a certain point the Amber Light comes on, I have taken a couple of photos, one showing the Red Oil Can Light which comes on during Tick-Over but once you increase the revs it goes out, but the level is perfect, fresh oil.
So, now I am at a point where I need some answers and so I am turning to you wonderful Prado Owners, should you need more information please don't hesitate to contact me, Regards Mark
