White/Grey Smoke from 2007 D4D

I have got 08 standard model and tonight hopped in it to get dinner, Gave it the beans and in the guys headlights behind me I noticed a fair bit of smoke, because it was dark I couldn't tell what colour it was. My question is, is this normal for a D4-D engine.

Any help would be appreciated

I've currently got the white smoke on start up (due to be fixed this thursday) and i've never seen it smoke once it has warmed up. Also no residue evidence on the rear bumper. Hope this helps...
