Although its upside down i know, you can hopefully see that there is NO plates at all under our new (read 2nd hand 2006) prado.
With this knowledge i have been hunting around this forum to try and work out what we need. Now the issue im coming across is that ppl make recommendations based on the fact that the old toyota protection is there and so unlike our situation. The brown davis seem to cover the front section but doesnt go back very far. The TJM (which we have a local dealer quoted $295 part only for their plate, he said it covered up to the radiator, but all the pics here says it doesnt even come close).
I was thinking of getting the brown davis, because the tjm seems to need the front toyota stock protection, is this right? would much prefer to get the tjm as its local and makes life easier. Was going to have a go at adding radiator checker plate mod from here.
Need some advice with regards to our actual situation. its hard to work out what im looking at with all the angles and plates and ahhhhhhhh, PLEASE HELP PP.
PS do you need anything special to install either of these plates? can it be done as a DIY as in no drilling etc. cheers
