    Justo, I placed my order with Luke today and am very pleased with the price. I'll get a local exhaust mob to do the install, but did you come across any problems doing yours? Hows the autotrans dipstick placement? Also, did the new headers get rid of that annoying ticking sounds that comes from the standard manifold?

    Can't wait for them to be fitted.

      Gday Racketsports, no real problems mate. The auto trans dipstick bracket does need to be modified, I simply got a bracket made up.

          You will love the extractors mate, they don't have that ticking sound and I'm surprised how much more responsive it is. Makes it even more of a pleasure to drive. 8)

            I fitted mine the other weekend. In regards to the dipstick bkt I just used a longer thread bolt and spaced the original bracket out. Easy as!
            I am really happy with the upgrade and confirm Justo's comments.

                        Performance and response is definitely a decent and instantly noticeable improvement. I can't say on economy as yet as I haven't really had the chance to have the similar driving habits for a tank as yet..but certainly watching the computer it does appear to be a bit more efficient.
                        Maybe some of the other guys can help you out with the economy difference.

                          Thanks Justo so I guess you are saying its worth doing. So i have a tick on performance and just need to see know how the economy is effected because I don't want to increase the litres/kms, a drop will be perfect

                            Absolutely mate, I can't believe I waited as long as I did to get them. If you don't change the habits of your right foot you can be confident you will increase your economy at least slightly. There would be something wrong if they increased your fuel consumption. :shock:

                              Had mine for a fair while now and would say I think my economy improved just a little but nothing to rave about. The performance difference is the thing that blew me away though!

                                Had mine installed today, $280 including the new gasket kit. So far I have noticed the burning smell of the paint coming off the pacies LOL . I have definately felt an improvement especially in the mid range. I have found that with the A4 in mine it changes just after it hits where the power band now is thanks to the increased torque. Seems to be especially evident on the 2-3 change. Haven't really had a good drive to determine the performance gain yet and can detect a slight change in exhaust note too. I must say a big thanks to Justo for organizing the group buy, Cheers JUSTO
