    had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.

        Well i dropped off my truck this afternoon down to Oak Flats and should get a ph call tomorrow arvo to say its done. Hoping to finish at a decent hour so i can pick it up, or else Sat Morning. Getting the extractors and am replacing the rear muffler with a free flowing item.
        To say im hanging to pick it up is an understatment.

          Sounds good Frank..

          I am booked in for the 10th of August in Newcastle. I shall be very interested to hear of the differences in power and economy with the headers and the new muffler. That is basically what they are doing to mine as well, and I am also insisting on a sooky quite muffler to keep it livable and legal .

          Hey Matt-- according to Brad-Muffler centre, he says that the muffler will be of the quieter type with only the slightest of droans, but non intrusive in the cabin-
          Ill let you know on the physical differences tomorrow evening hopefully, including instantaneous LHK from Scanguage.

              Like i said, will be late but here a couple pics





              Difference was noticed right away when the car warmed up. Response is better, and uphill pull is improved aty lower revs .
              Also the horsey value seems to have slightly increased as well. Happy days i say

                Ok judging by the Scanguage, im getting an extra 1.5 L/100 Km better economy. Will confirm this when i refuel

                              :idea: looking outside the box for headers, seems the yanks are bolting these Doug Thorley shorty's on to theirs,
                              in preference to the JBA shorty's..... would appreciate any input ... positive or negative ? .. cheers butane

                                just had a set of pacemakers fitted to my 120 - i agree with the other post - it has been the best mod so far to the car. i had my system fitted by rutherford mufflers - their quality, price and service was A1.

                                for all you petrol 120 owners i would recommend this mod
