I am the proud owner of a 2006 GXL 4.0lt automatic Prado. I picked it up today and couldn't be happier with it.

I have searched this and other web sites during my search for a replacement 4x4 and without the detailed and honest info from actual petrol Prado owners I think I would be still annoying my wife with trips to car yards.

I originally wanted a diesel but couldn't find one with low Kms for a reasonable price. I was driving a 1984 Nissan Patrol wagon P40 petrol that returned 21lts per 100kms everywhere (City, highway and towing). My new (to me anyway) Prado will definately be cheaper to run and is much more comfortable.
