  • Hi all I am thinking of a LPG setup on mine only drawback is I'm not driving lots of klms so I don't think I can justify it, it's also good to see some are working on the fuel gauge issue as I don't trust mine at all as when it's completely full the gauge is way off.

    • Thanks leethal1, but it is the fuel gauge not the lpg gauge.

I am thinking of changing ohms to maybe increase or decrease the resister current flow to try and match the correct level that it should be sending (if that makes any sense).

Does anyone know if I decrease or increase the resistance will it show a higher or lower level on the gauge?

      • Got Orbital liquid injection fitted for about 7 weeks, fuel economy seems pretty bad, initially only able to get 270k out of 52L. Took it back for first service, was able to fill up to 59L, however the car is still doing 270-275k. Not sure what's going on. Anyone have similar issues? On 98, I was able to get 12.8L/100 on highway, 15.2L/100 around town.

            • I had my Easyjet system fitted 7 years ago now and apart from the first 2 years with engine light coming on (which was fixed under warranty by renewing faulty injectors) it's been all good. I average 15km/100l on both petrol and gas around town and on medium runs. Has been a great system despite the initial problems and I have now done over 140,000km on this with a Flashlube kit installed. The one ongoing problem (minor) is the petrol fuel gauge which shows full when tank is full and half when empty. 90l light never comes on. I have learned to live with this as most of my travels are on LPG. Very happy with my investment which cost me a net $1500 given I got the State and Fed subs at the time

              • the reason your fuel gauge is the way it is, is because the resistor needs to be changed, it is a $2 part and just needs to sit in the wiring. An auto elec would do it for less than $50 and you would have a full fuel gauge again.
