EOI- Group buy-iridium spark plugs

Hi,

I posted in another thread that I have decided to do my own 160,000KM service. One item of this are the spark plugs.

Down at Autobarn the standard NGK plug sells for about $15 each.

After doing a bit of a search I have come across the DENSO long life iridium. Supposed to last over 60,000 miles. They can be purchase online from America for a $11 US. When posted is taken into account they work out to be about $14-$16 each AUD.

So I am planning to order some in the next few days... Anyone else interested to save on postage costs? if not will go it alone as I will be getting some extra bits as well.

No takers... Thats okay.. I will be ordering later today, and will let you know the outcome. Probably going to get an air filter as well.

Just an update... The plugs arrived yesterday. Rather quick I thought. They look legit and 100% genuine.

Will install on the weekend and post results.

out of interest where did you buy them from? toyota USA (florida?) -not many of them ship outside of US but some will

Clint. I got them from RockAuto. Like I said they seem legit and were effectively the same price as the std NGK ones if brought from repco/autobarn.

Correct.. I first looked at Amazon.com. they had them for the same price, but wouldn't post outside Australia.
I also came across companies that offered mail re-direction. ie. All your US orders went to their warehouse, and they would then post to Australia.

yeah i have actually used one of those for some parts i ordered for my boat - i think the parts actually got here faster! - but its just another cost that obviously you want to avoid.
