    Hi Brains
Ive got a 120 Prado, 2004, 330,000 on the clock.
petrol. I’m having trouble towing a camper. Temperature fluctuates, dosnt hit the red but close to it. It can go from nearly hitting the red to normal in seconds. Had radiator replaced, water pump replaced. Toyota says they cannot find anything wrong with it. I have noticed it gets warmer the slower I go. It is the fan?

My last Prado 120 (2004 GXL) i had a similar water temp issue (and the radiator was replaced aprox 1 yr before) It turned out to be a faulty thermostat.
You can't just buy the thermostat, but instead the whole plastic housing with the thermostat inside comes as a complete unit.
Once swapped out the problem was sovled. Might not be your issue but just saying since you swapped out all other parts

        My 07 120series has 253,000, runs like a dream.
Not relevant but my ex father in law has a similar bit diesel version Prado with 700,000 on it before a radiator issue cooked it.
He's now close to the million in his 05 model and been around Oz a few times.
