noise when stopped

help please, dont know what the noise is but after driving and coming to a stop at traffic lights,,after about say 10 seconds a noise comes from the gearbox or somewhere,its like as if it wants to go forward,,,cant exactly say where it is,,and of course it only occurs every now and then,, the last time i noticed it was about 2 weeks ago
does ny1 hav an idea ,please

It sounds like you may be suffering the dreaded tailshaft clunk. Will fell as someone taps you on the rear bumper, when you take your foot off the brake.
