  • Bloody photos

G,day is it just me ? I am 60 yrs old & am marginally the worlds worst computer person ! I have looked at the top of this site to try & place a photo on a site but sadly It makes no flippin sense ! really am I the only one ? this should be so simple but no !!!

Where are you trying to put the photo exactly?

Are you trying to link one for a post from an image hosting site or upload one into your photo albums section on your profile page. There is a thread existing in the general section regarding linking images to the site which I believe still applies even after the site upgrade...

A little more information about what your trying would help us to solve your issue...

My daughter pooed and woke us up so this may not make sense but I'll give it a shot!

Create an account with photo bucket.
Write down your username and password somewhere.
      Upload a picture.
      Look at your album.
Hover your mouse over picture and four options will come up: click on the bottom link (image) it will say copied.
In your thread window, where u type, right click (if Mac, control click) and paste item. It should be a line of writing pasted in there.
That's it! Preview or post comment! Let me know if it works!

Click on reply to thread and "go advanced" bottom right.

Down the bottom of the page is a box and there is a spot that says "Manage attachments".

Click on this and upload direct from where it is saved on your home computer.

That's a good way but I like them to be big in the thread - not a small image. Glad it worked!

We can't access broadband other than through wireless, which is slow. I personally won't follow threads where people post lots of large pictures as the download time is to long, and it eats through our meagre download limit. I am finding that some of the thbumbnails being posted with the new format are a bit small to really tell what is in the picture though, the postimage thumbnails seem to be a good comprimise, big enough to see if your interested in looking at the larger image and small enough to download quickly.

                  Cheers Andrew
