Dash 4WD light coming on wet weather

Hi all,

I have a 2008 D4D and have had an ongoing problem that Toyota have "check out" and can't find any problems.

In the wet when there is a bit of water being splashed around the dash 4WD light comes on. Water is obviously getting into an electrical connector or harness of some sort. My concern is that over time this will cause damage to that component.

Has anyone else had similar issues?

Mick - You sure get in deep. I generally keep the windows and doors closed so the water can't get up to the dash. Were you doing a river crossing?
