Garmin Ecoroute or Scangauge on 2005 VX Petrol

I have been reading various posts on fitting a scangauge or garmin ecoroute to 120 Petrol Prado. Mine is a 2005 Vx with a late 2004 build. Can anyone confirm if it will run either of these two systems please or am I going to have to try them to find out.

If you have the OBDII port, they should work.

Sadly the scangauge will not work on 1kz diesels that have the obd port so it wont work on all prados. I thought they only worked on D4D models and later but not 100% sure on V6.

I believe all the V6 models can use the scangauge, but only the D4D in Diesel.

Thanks all. I have got Garmin Ecoroute HD working so this says there is a good chance Scangauge will work. I will purchase one and post the results.
