Which Manual?

Which manual is better, the Max Ellery or the Gregory's? I've been searching on here and found a write up for the Max Ellery manual and having borrowed one agree with the comments about being difficult to distinguish between the 90 and 120 in places. I haven't been able to find any comments on the Gregory's 95/120 version. My local Super Cheap has the Gregory's one in stock for $45.

I did find a thread about the Toyota CD Manual and have been quoted $300 by my local dealer (quite a bit more than the $80ish in the thread) but he says that there are none available in Australia.

I got myself the Gregory's last year and it seems quite easy to follow. Truth be told I haven't had to do anything too major since I got it but I did give it a good read though when I got it and it seems quite good.

its a toyota . you don't need those things unless you have a holden or a ford. RTFM . LOL

I've got the kzj120 and am finding it hard to find a manual which only covers 03-06 120 sers or even the 03-09 120ser

That's because there isn't one other than the disc version Toyota one. Both Gregory's and Max Ellory covers 90/95 as well as the 120.

i knew that elleries and gregories didn't do one but i was hoping there was a downloadable manual or something like that available

I have the Max Ellery manual and its has been good for what I need, like pulling off panels etc, also have a mate who is a mechanic

None of them seem much chop really.
Dont even bother trying to find a manual that covers the Grande features!
Ive been looking and non of the manuals Ive seen covers the Grande feature like air suspension, ride control, traction control, not even the dual aircon!!

I emailed Ellery for an explanation on how to cancel the T belt warning after I changed the cam belt on my diesel 120 and couldn't get an answer. What is in the manual is nothing like the info that I received from a helpful dealer. Ellery has sold out to another company so don't expect any improvement. I get more information from PP than the manual when I need some help.

I agree!! The Ellery manual is as handy as a wire mesh water bag!... It says stuff like 'the 120 and 125 series has a similar removal technique to the 90' and then just showing you where the clips are...der! And there's nothin on how to get the front interior light panel off. I need to get it off to put something behind it so that I can fit a hat rack/hanger... but, I'll put up a post for some help...
