I have a 2005 petrol Prado VX and I want to fit a tow ball to the front, so that I can navigate my boat from the
narrow front street and equally narrow side driveway. I can do it in reverse but I cant get enough swing at the ball
joint and have to drive onto my or my neighbours lawn. I had a front ball mounted to a previous Nissan Patrol which worked well, but it was built like a truck and I had no problems with the front suspension. I am concerned
that the Prado's front end might suffer if I put too much strain on it. The vehicle has a Toyota alloy and steel bull/winch bar, so welding a steel sleeve to take the tow hitch shouldn't pose too much of a problem. Appreciate
any advice if you have had or known of someone doing this previously. I'm thinking that a proper Toyo winch bar should be more than strong enough, just now sure about the set of of the front suspension.

    Regards
