  • Radiator Coolant Leak

My KZ-TE diesel radiator leaks/weeps on the lower side above the drain tap. I've had this before on a Falcon where the cheap and nasty plastic tanks are clamped to the core. I fixed this by working on the line of clamps with my multigrips.
The Prado has a similar set up, has anyone tried to use a little force on the clamps to stop a leak?
I am reluctant to pour stop-leak into the radiator to cure the problem

my radiator was doing this as well, i bit the bullet and put a new radiator in, cost about $400 for aftermarket radiator, (toyota rad is about $600ish) installed myself, problem fixed, too about an few hours to install, stop leak is only really for a quick fix for you are on the side of the road or ya gunna get sell ya car , the last thing you want is a radiator crapping itself when you up the beach or in the bush or in rushhour traffic. cheers samo
had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.
