Just replaced uni joint on front drive shaft ( rear ) out of transfer case. Been having a clunk and vibration thats been getting worse thought it was suspension, did a bit of checking yesterday to find this uni joint stuffed.
Took about 2 hours in the rain under a tarp, once out one of the knuckles had been squared off and the opposite side warn like a cone... time to do the rest now.

Going on this discovery not enough, but just done everyone i could find. ill be replaceing all the uni's now, wasn't to hard.

Can you just replace the uni joints? I've got a spare rear drive shaft that i have to recondition if i can source a replacement uni.

yeah i guess just made sure i marked points so knuckle joint located to its original position to the drive shaft. the uni joint i sourced from autobarn its a TOYO brand made in japan went in all good actually watched a you tube video that brakes down removing the joint cleaning and installing the new unit. been for two good drives and no vibration from 0 to 120 over rough roads and all feels tight again.
