I am in the process of costing the installation of a dual battery system for my 04-120 Prado Grande. My main use now will be for a fridge and the future may be a camper trailer. Can somebody give me a ball park figure of what this may cost me please? As I am from the land of the NRMA (No Real Mechanical Ability) I will be paying for the total installation. Thanks for your help.

ARB list price is $885 + $44 if D4D model. This includes Battery tray, battery, mounting hardware, wiring & Redarc Smart Isolator.

if you can talk to the guys at battery world you want at least a 100ah battery the one I brought earlier in the year was about $250
battery tray was about $120 from opposite lock
I aready had a dual battery isolater set up from battery world
my local auto electrian wired it all up with 2 aditional sockets converting the rear one over to it and allowing for a connection point to my camper trailer was about $200 cant remember exactly talk to your local auto electrian and he should be able to give a price at least an estimate
it works really well and runs my 60lt engel for 4days
its a good system that I have transfered from two previous cars
