Hmm, Dave I wasn't going to dwell on the topic but I was also told 3-6 months about 6 months ago. I am having a similar situation at work. A supplier is begging "what can we do to get your business back" The answer, provide the service we paid for and you failed to deliver. In other words, it is easier to keep an existing customer than try to win them back once you have lost them.

I have no doubt that if TJM or anyone else brings out the product they will sell out for the first few loads. After all, its not like ARB / TJM / and others have unique products with most of them produced in factories within 5km of each other, if not the same factory.

    Still Loyal, but teetering.

These are a new item, even the seller couldn't provide a photo of them fitted. They look to utilize the same two mounting points as the Outback Ideas one, plus another bolt on the chassis higher up and towards the front of the vehicle.

Yes, thanks Phil. I was also interested in how you filled in the 5mm void between chassis and the recovery point on the top bolt, which was also nicely explained.

here ya go, not particularly clear and you cant see the washer between the point and the chassis to fill the void.
              Cheers

Ah right, I actually used a washer that I had in the shed which just happened to be a similar thickness as the sovereign bar thingy it was about 3/4 inch ( 5.3mm thick) from memory, I had to grind out a small tab to get it to fit snugly.
                Cheers

Just goes to show you cant believe what an ARB salesman tells you at a show stand. And I specifically asked the sales guy to confirm that they were the "new" ARB rated recovery points in line with what they had on display (Hilux etc...). Oh well, lesson learnt and in future I'll a/ keep my trap shut about new products about to come available and b/ take AJ120's advice and "dont believe it until I see for myself!"
Hi guys, it's disappointing to hear of misinformation regarding our product availability. With over 1000 ARB staff, plus those of our stockists, it's a constant challenge to ensure that the correct information is being channeled down to all levels of staff and delivered accurately to customers. Obviously, there are instances where this is not happening and it's regrettable. We are taking steps to try and rectify this.

In part, the reason ARB created my role is to be able to provide an accurate source of information through our social media channels (forums, Facebook, Twitter etc). If anyone has new product queries from here on in, please don't hesitate to contact me via PM (or let me know if I've missed a thread that requires our input) and I'll ensure I provide accurate responses in consultation with the appropriate team members at Head Office. Likewise, you can be confident that information listed on our website is accurate.

FYI, our development engineers and manufacturing facilities are currently working at 100% capacity to meet current demand. With the release of many new and face-lifted models recently, (i'll be honest) we're most definitely 'under the pump'. With this in mind, we are currently investing heavily to expand our manufacturing capabilities to ensure we can continue to meet this demand now and into the future.

                  Cheers, Sam.

This seller has changed the design to be the same as the the Outback Ideas design.
