Have you painted / powdercoated an original bullbar??

Im wondering if anyone has powdercoated a Prado bullbar and if it looked good / lasted ect. Pictures would be great. My lcal powdercoater says $300 no probs mate. Just after some advise. Trying to save some money I love the white ARB bar. Apologies if this has already been asked.

Yep, have Powder Coated ARB Bar, same colour as car, grey (or whatever they call the grey) Looks fantastic and is easy to wash clean. Not sure how to add picture, go for it, it's distintive.

I would also be interested in this. just bought a 120 series black prado. might be a good low cost option to powder coat it black. the allow seems to loose it shine after a while

I saw in person one yesterday - powdercoated white - a genuine toyota sovereign bar. Will get pics if i see it again.

Not the best photo, but I had the bar and uprights painted the same colour as the vehicle and left the tubes polished.

The toyota bar for the GX model came powder coated,in a dark grey colour.Mine is matched on a silver car and looks ok.The finish is good and easy to keep clean,much better looking than the polish look but then again so do the black mirrors and grill. An ARB bar still always looks smarter though.

Thanks guys, the polishing on mine isnt as good as it used to be so im thinking of cheaper alternatives to a ARB bar. But I think the ARB is the go. Just have to convince HER.
