  • Difference between GX and GXL

Hi all, I know someone is going to tell me that there are threads everywere regard this question but as a new member I'm finding it very difficult to find specific threads without scrolling through pages of norelevant info in the limited time I have. I'm looking at buying a 09 KDJ120R GX or a 08 KDJ120R GXL. What is the difference between these models. Both have about the same kms.

The differences come down to whether they are auto or manual and whether either of them have option packs fitted and which ones and what accessories have been fitted.

Standard GX versus standard GXL misses out on alloy wheels, roof bars (the North South ones), 6 stacker CD, privacy glass in rear and fog lamps in the bumper.

For example an auto GXL with option pack will have rear air and traction control/stability control etc and to get there you need the auto GX to have option pack II fitted but it will still be short the items above.

PM me an email address and I can send you a pdf brocure.

Toyota's website says the GX (both manual and auto) come with traction control and vehicle stability control as standard.
