Just want to know from other grande owners if they have issues with the suspension going to low setting after fitting aftermarket suspension and going overweight on the rear,not sure if I should look at removing standard suspension and installing normal springs/shocks. plan on having draws, rear bar in the back.

Some one else will fill you in who owns one but I thought the suspension levels itself out no matter what the load ?? Can you fill us in on exactly what was done during the suspension upgrade? It sound like someone touched the height sensors and stuffed it up. Is it riding on its bump stops?Comment

I haven't installed the lift yet, the suspension place I spoke to about the lift told me that when the rear gets 300kg on the rear ales it goes into low mode. I just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this, I have read the other threads re grande lifts on here and there is no reference to it.Comment

x2... I've had 25 cases of 24 x 600ml water bottles (approx 350kg) sitting in the back of the Grande for 2 days and then travelled 400klm with a box trailer full of stuff and the suspension kept it's normal height the whole time.... Bloody awesome!!!
So like Andrew said, suggest you find a suspension place who can give you some decent advice. Having said that, you will find most of your questions probably answered within this forum. Just keep on reading and reading and reading and.......

This only applies to the 100 series Landcruiser Sahara or Lexus LX470 with AHC hydraulic suspension, not the Prado Grande which has TEMS pneumatic suspension. You will not have this issue with the Grande, but I would suggest you go to a suspension specialist that knows what to do with the Grande, because your guy seems to have NFI.Originally posted by srh0369 View Post

definitely find someone else . mine will drop down when its parked .but nothing to do with any load . ive only changed the springs in the front03 grande v6 , with added stuff that makes it go places . RTFM people !
